The registration process will consider 25% of the camp tuition is non refundable once completed. 75% of the camp tuition will be refunded if requested one month prior to the original date of the event. (Example – December 1st event date will have a refund deadline of November 1st). Once the refund deadline has passed, you will be entitled to a credit for another event that is held in your area on a different date. Camp credits will be honored for 1 year following original date of registration. To request a refund, please use the “Contact Us” tab on the camp website.
For calculation purposes, the original date of the camp is used when applying the refund policy. Associated parties to the event such as coaches, facilities, and others will not have any discretion on the refund policy or any necessary insurance claims. We ask that you do not attempt to contact them regarding refund issues or similar requests.
While we have written confirmation from all coaches who are supposed to be in attendance please note that the absence of a particular coach is not grounds for requesting a refund. Coaches may have many last-minute circumstances beyond our control that adjust their presence at an event. Our priority is to hold the event in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants. In the case that weather, or any other uncontrollable event, should adjust the schedule or location of the camp, we will update all participants via email, text message (if possible), and on the website of adjusted dates and times. If weather issues arise during the event, you will be alerted, using the contact information you provided during registration, and should return to pick up an athlete as needed. Any rescheduled sessions will be posted on the website and through email. Please note that refunds will not be available for inclement weather, acts of god or other uncontrollable events. We will work with the local host to set a new date and your registration will be carried over as a credit to the corresponding make-up date. In addition, while it rarely occurs, if we incur technical difficulties or weather impedes the coaching staff from acquiring metrics, that will not be grounds for a refund. Metrics are provided as a courtesy and not considered part of the camp tuition.
Due to the limited nature of this event, once you have secured your spot through registration refunds are not available unless we are able to fill your spot with a wait list registrant. This will only be considered once all teams are full and we have developed a wait list. At that point, any requested refunds will be processed in the order they were received and only if there is a wait list for the position you registered for.
You must use the "Contact Us" link on the event website to request a refund. You will receive a confirmation of your refund request within 1-2 business days. Refunds will be issued back to the card used to register within two (2) weeks of the request being processed and confirmed. Refunds will appear on your statement as a credit from "Junior Day Camps". Checks will not be issued for refunds. When you register, 25% of your camp tuition is considered a non-refundable deposit.
The coaches and instructors in attendance at the event do not have any discretion when it comes to determining refunds. Please do not attempt to contact any of the coaches in attendance regarding refunds or insurance claims. Although it rarely happens, a coach may cancel their attendance in the event beyond the control of Junior Day. A coach's lack of attendance is not grounds for any type of refund. On occasion inclement weather, or other “Acts of God,” may occur on the event date, during the event, immediately after the event or prior to the event. Every effort will be made to hold the event regardless of inclement weather. Should the event be impossible to hold then full event credit will be extended to future Junior Day events either later that academic year or in future years. Inclement weather is not grounds for a refund.
If we are not able to process your refund request for the Junior Day National event, you can use that for camp credit at any of our other events throughout the year. However, camp credit from a Junior Day regional event is not transferable to any of our national event.
Every effort will be made to hold the camp in a safe and fun atmosphere. Should inclement weather change the schedule prior to the day's session beginning then an update will be sent through email, text message (if possible) and updated on the camp website. Please check the camp website before leaving for camp even if the weather forecast looks good.
