ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE
EVALUATION: Each player will receive verbal feedback from the different levels of college football coaches represented at the camp. Coaches will evaluate each player based on their experiences at their level of college football coaching and give feedback when appropriate. This will allow each participating football player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level. Because we want full interaction between coaches and players we do not provide written individual evaluations. We ask our staff to be fully engaged in the teaching and evaluating process and not be lost in a form. For this reason, we highly encourage players to ask questions of the staff and obtain any and all information they would like to know. Each Junior Day Football Showcase can differ slightly when it comes to the feedback given. The Showcase portion of camp will feature different formats but will allow the coaches to truly evaluate the level of skills each player has. Players will also be instructed in improving the skills areas that they are having evaluated.
COMPETITION: Players attending will not only receive instruction on techniques and fundamentals, but will have the opportunity to showcase their talents against other athletes at camp. This will happen during agility and reaction competitions throughout the morning and afternoon sessions.
SEMINAR ON RECRUITING & THE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: The Seminar will be no longer be held during camp. It will now be a Virtual Seminar that will be emailed for all members of the family after the camp. The seminar will last approximately a 45-60 minutes. The discussion will cover topics like: The NCAA Recruiting Rules, How to Promote Yourself, What Coaches Look For, The Best Way to Make a Video, What to Expect Playing College Athletics and How to Talk to College Coaches. You will have the opportunity to email questions to the coaches and will come out of the experience having a much better idea of What College Athletics is All About.
